It showcases the finest example of Ptolemaic temple construction in Egypt, stretching over 140m from south to north across an area of approximately 7000m2. Indulge in a delightful onboard lunch before venturing to the Temple of Kom Ombo, home to the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. This extraordinary temple pays homage to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. With its symmetrical layout, twin entrances, hypostyle halls, and sanctuaries, it showcases the mythical connection between the two gods.

      After a delightful onboard breakfast, sail towards Aswan. Upon arrival, embark on a visit to the impressive High Dam. Situated at the Egypt-Sudan border, this rock-fill dam harnesses the power of the Nile River, forming the magnificent Lake Nasser. Construction began in 1960 and was completed in 1968, with the official inauguration in 1971. The Aswan High Dam project involved significant investment. Located in Aswanโ€™s ancient stone quarries, the Unfinished Obelisk is the largest known ancient obelisk. It was believed to have been authorized by the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, although doubts have been raised by modern engineers regarding the Dynastic Egyptiansโ€™ technical capabilities to complete such a monumental task. Dedicated to the goddess Isis, the Temple of Philae is situated in a picturesque landscape that replicates its original site. UNESCO relocated the temple to protect it from the Aswan Damโ€™s construction.

These temples boast a distinctive design and were constructed for King Ramesses 2nd and his cherished Queen Nefertari, then we will transfer you to Hurghada.
