      We will wel-come you at the airport and bring you to your hotel in Thamel Kathmandu. 

  • Day 2 Day 2: Kathmandu

      Free day at leisure in Kathmandu.

      Today last preparation for your trek, and you can recover from your international flight as well. Also, it is possible to visit some cultural sites in the Kathmandu valley. 

  • Day 3 Day 3: Syabrubesi

      Drive Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1460 m โ€“ 7 hrs.)

      From Kathmandu, itโ€™s a dayโ€™s drive, past local villages and farming terraces, to the tiny village of Syabrubesi.

      Trek to Lama Hotel (2350 m โ€“ 6 hrs.)

      The trek starts with crossing a suspension bridge over the river Langtang Khola. On the first days of the trekking, you will follow the roaring river that cuts through a gorge.

      Trek to Ghoretabela (3015 m โ€“ 4 hrs.)

      On the first days of the trekking, you will follow the roaring river that cuts through a gorge. After a few days, the valley opens up to meadows and small farming settlements. You will be treated with a view of stunning views far into the valley. The local population are Buddhist Sherpa and Tamang and on your way, you will pass many mani walls. 

  • Day 6 Day 6: Mundu Or Langtang

      Trek to Mundu (3500 m โ€“ 4 hrs.)

      In the valley, you will trek to the village of Langtang. This local village was buried under millions of tons of rock and ice during the devastating earthquake in the spring of 2015. The only building still standing was the Gompa. Slowly houses and teahouses have been rebuilt. You continue to Mundu or will stay a night in Langtang. 

  • Day 7 Day 7: Kyangjin Gompa

      Day 7: Kyangjin Gompa

      Today you will trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3749 m โ€“ 4 hrs.). A small village nestled between the mountains. It is the last village in the Langtang Valley.

      Resting day in Kyangjin Gompa, optional day hike to Kyangjin Ri (4600 m) or Tsergo Ri (5200 m)

      In the village Kyangjin Gompa you can enjoy a resting day. An optional day hike is possible to one of the surrounding peaks, the Kyangjin Ri (4600 meters) or the Tsergo Ri (5200 meters). From these peaks you will have a panoramic view of the entire Langtang mountain range including the Langtang Lirung and Shishapangma. 

  • Day 9 Day 9: Bamboo Lodge

      Trek to Bamboo lodge (2350 m โ€“ 7 hrs.)

      From Kyangjin Gompa you follow back your footsteps out of the valley the same way you came.

      Trek to Thulo Syabru (2118 m โ€“ 6 hrs.)

      At the village of Syabru, you will turn towards to the sacred lakes of Gosainkunda.

      Trek to Singh Gompa (3254 m โ€“ 5 hrs.)

      After Thulo Syabrusi you first hike through a thick rhododendron forest. When you finally have walked out of the forest you wil be treated with great views of the Ganesh mountains.

      Day 12: Gosainkunda Lakes

      Trek to Gosainkunda lakes (4381 m โ€“ 5 hrs.)

      These lakes are at an altitude of 4600 meters. You walk along the main large lake at Gosainkunda for an overnight stay. This is a fascinating place in a charming setting surrounded by high mountain peaks. This place is considered to be sacred over hundreds of years. Every year in August the lakes are visited by hundreds of Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims and Shamans (medicine men) during the festival of "Jani Purnima".

      Cross over Laurabina La pass (4609 m) to Ghopte (3566 m โ€“ 6 hrs.)

      After the Gosainkunda lakes you cross the Laurebina La pass (4605 meters) and walk into charming hills of Helambu.

      Trek to Kutumsang (2445  m โ€“ 6 hrs.)

      After the Gosainkunda lakes you cross the Laurebina La pass (4605 meters) and walk into charming hills of Helambu. 

  • Day 15 Day 15: Ghul Bhanjyang And Kathmandu

      Day 15: Ghul Bhanjyang And Kathmandu

      Trek to Ghul Bhanjyang (2125 m โ€“ 2 hrs.) and drive to Kathmandu (7 hrs.)

      From Kutumsang it is an easy downhill walk to Ghul Bhanjyang. A jeep drive will take you back to your hotel in Kathmandu.

      Free day at leisure in Kathmandu.
