      Bogota Cusco

      Arrive in the charming city of Cusco after your flight from Bogota. According to your flight schedule, you will be picked up at the Ricardo Velasco Astete International Airport of Cusco (CUZ) for the transfer to the hotel.

      Check-in time at the hotel is from 15:00 hrs, if you wish you can leave your luggage at the hotel reception and walk around the nearby places to wait for the time when your room is available.

      The rest of the day is free for you to explore Cusco on your own and at your own pace. If you arrived days before the start of the tour, we recommend you book the City tour activity in Cusco, more information in the "Extras" section.

      Or you can take the opportunity to rest and get used to the altitude of this beautiful city in the Peruvian Andes, known for its colonial architecture and important archaeological remains.

      Note: The flight from Mexico City to Cusco is included, it can have up to 2 stopovers and depart between 1 and 2 days prior to arrival in the city. Detailed flight information (airline, route, date and time) will be provided no later than 7 days before the start of the experience.

      Start the day very early and after breakfast, you take the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu.

      Enjoy a two-hour tour of Machu Picchu, in which you have a detailed explanation of this historic sanctuary by the guide.

      Machu Picchu is considered one of the seven wonders of the world for its history, landscapes and impressive architecture.

      It is essential that you consider reserving your ticket at these times to avoid losing your access to the archaeological zone (Ciudadela Machu Picchu) which is already included in the tour. The entrance ticket that is acquired has a visit to the house of the guardian and the temple of the Sun.

      You can only choose one of these two activities in your respective schedule.

      -Huayna Picchu must be at 10:00 AM.

      -Machu Picchu Mountain must be at 10:00 AM.

      Begin the tour early in the morning to go to Mollepata, located 2 hours and a half away, where you have a nutritious breakfast.

      Continue by road for 1 hour and 20 minutes to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike to the Humantay Lagoon.

      Wake up very early and leave the hotel by road for about 3 hours to go to the point where the hike to Vinicunca or Winikunka begins, which is called "the mountain of the 7 colors"

      Note: You may need to take a COVID-19 test before leaving Cusco, it can be done at the airport and costs between 20 and 30 USD.
