      Day 1: Rio De Janeiro City (Hotel Pick-Up) X Petrópolis Headquarters X Açú Shelter

      After transfer from your lodging at Rio de Janeiro the expedition begins at the headquarters of the Serra dos Órgãos National Park in Petrópolis city.

      The adventure will start at the Bonfim Valley, where we will take the classic trail to the Açú Castles, past its beautiful viewpoints (the Cheese Stone and the Ajax), as well as the chapadão and its stunning view and we’ll approach our base camp at Açú Peak, enjoying a stunning sunset at Morro do Cruzeiro Peak.

      We’ll have dinner and rest to the second day of adventure at Serra dos Órgãos.

      • Hiking distance: 09 km
      • Overnight mode: Mountain Shelter at Castelos do Açú Peak.

      Day 2: Açú Shelter X Hercules Portals X Transfer Back To Rio

      We will wake up early (around 04:00 am) for a nocturnal hike to the Hércules Portals to enjoy the beautiful sunrise with a great view to all Serra dos Órgãos Mountain Range, we bet it will be one of the best sunrises of your life, at the most beautifull belvedere os Rio de Janeiro.

      After visiting the most beautiful viewpoint of Serra dos Órgãos we’ll return to the Açú Castles Peak.

      Then, we will have some breakfast, gather our gear and return to the National Park’s headquarters of Petrópolis, and then will have a waterfall circuit of 5 different spots to swim.

      Then, we get our way back to Rio de Janeiro finishing the trekking tour at your lodging.
