      Departure from your hotel to visit the Historical Center declared humanityโ€™s Cultural Heritage being Americaโ€™s largest and best preserved, walk through the Basilica, Main Plaza, Government Palace, Society of Jesus, the church and convent of San Francisco, followed by Panecillo Viewpoint. Next departure to the Middle of the World and visit the Monument to the Ecuador Line, Latitude 0,0,0, time for lunch, we will also visit the Museum site "Intiรฑan". In the afternoon return to Quito and visit to the Teleferico, those who decide to climb will reach the top of Cruz Loma where they will observe Quito and its surroundings from 4,050 meters above sea level, at the end a brief visit to the craft market for purchases and return.

  • Day 3 Otavalo Indian Market + Cotacachi

      Otavalo Indian Market + Cotacachi

      Depart from your hotel and head north and visit the โ€œPlaza de Ponchosโ€ which is Otavaloโ€™s crafts and fabrics market. We will also visit Cotacachi and the different leather stores. On our way there we will enjoy different Andean landscapes; we will be able to see El Lago San Pablo and different volcanoes such as Imbabura and Cayambe. It will be a shopping day with a lot of folklore. If time is helpful, we will visit the waterfalls in the town of Peguche with a light walk. Do not forget to try the delicious โ€œBizcochos y Queso de Hoja in Cayambeโ€. Return to Quito
