  • Day 1 Arrival In Paro To Thimphu (1.5 Hr)

      Arrival In Paro To Thimphu (1.5 Hr)

      After clearing immigration and customs you will be greeted by your World Tour Plan guide and transfer to Thimphu, traveling through the spectacular countryside en route. All the houses and buildings in the Kingdom are painted and constructed in traditional Bhutanese style. 

      Enjoy the remainder of the day to explore Thimphu, both by vehicle and on foot including visits to the Buddha Point, National Memorial Stupa and Takin Park

      Later go for Thimphu main streets excursion. Visit the majestic Tashichho dzong the seats of Bhutanโ€™s government and royal offices and, if time permits, pay a visit to Pangri Zampa โ€“ two 16th century buildings that now house a monastic school for astrologers. 

      Other options for places to visit are the national library, which holds a vast collection of ancient Buddhist manuscripts, Zorig Chusum โ€“ the national institute of the 13 arts and crafts of Bhutan & where you can interact with the students. The national textiles museum or visit to the folk heritage museum.Dinner and overnight in Thimphu.

  • Day 2 Thimphu โ€“ Geynekha โ€“ Gur ( Trek), Distance - 7 Kms, Time 5 Hours.

      Thimphu โ€“ Geynekha โ€“ Gur ( Trek), Distance - 7 Kms, Time 5 Hours.

      The trek starts from the beautiful Geynekha village. The village of this region produces famous matsutake and chantarelle mushrooms. Wander through terraced fields and coniferous vegetation then the true communion with the nature starts with alpine flora and plenty of birds. 

      Begin the short descent down to the river crossing followed by two hours of gradual uphill climb until you reach the huge rock platform, which offers a picturesque view of the valley. After another two hours of trekking you will reach Gur (3,290m) amongst abundance of flowers where you camp for the night.Dinner and overnight camp in Gur.

  • Day 3 Gur โ€“ Labatama: Distance 12 Km, Time 5 Hours.

      Whilst trekking across the ridges one enjoys the beauty of the rugged mountain vegetation. The path winds through flowers and wild asparagus (in spring) and the meadows are refreshing and inspiring. The first pass symbolized by a huge cairn gives a spectacular view of Kanchenjunga (Sikkim) and most of the Bhutanese Himalayan peaks. 

      Descending from the pass one will view the whole Dagala range, meadows and Yak herderโ€™s camp. Once descended into the Labatama valley you ascend gradually through the valley passing some Yak herder huts till you reach Utsho Tsho. The campsite is right next to the lake, where plenty of golden trout flourish. (4300m).Dinner and overnight camp in Utsho Tsho.

  • Day 4 Explore Labatama Valley

      Explore Labatama Valley

      You will spend the day exploring any one of nearby lakes such as Relitsho, Hentsho, Setsho and Jagetsho Lakes. These lake are full of trouts and your trekking leader will tell you mystic stories about these lakes. Lunch by the lakeside with spectacular view around can be a memorable experience. Return to camp by dusk and prepare for the next day.Dinner and overnight camp in Labatma.

  • Day 5 Labatama โ€“ Panka , Distance โ€“ 8 Km, Time โ€“ 4 Hours.

      Ascent 269m, Descent 520m, Camp Elev 400m.

      The trail along the western side of the Dalatsho up to a saddle at 4520m from where you can have majestic view of Himalayan peaks during descent. This point is around 4460m. The mountain peaks include Everest (Nepal), Kanchenjunga (Sikkim), Jumolhari, Jitchu Drake, Tshering Gang, Khangbum, Masa Gang , Tshenda Gang and Gangche Ta. If you want even better view, you can climb a peak close to the saddle with an altitude of 4720m. From the saddle the path descends, passing some yak herder huts to Docha Chu. You follow the river for a while, but stay higher up on the slop to reach Pankha with some ups and down on the way. Dinner and overnight camp at Pankha at 4000m.

      Optional Note: If you are trekking in spring time, the Pankha camp will not have drinking water. So you can hike about another 1 ยฝ hours further from Pankha for your tonightโ€™s camp. And this can also make your last day easier and bit shorter too.

  • Day 6 Panka โ€“ Chamgang โ€“ Thimphu - Paro (Trek Ends)

      Ascent 180m, Descent 1630m.

      You will start early today. This day entails the crossing of several passes, each one more impressive than the other. Search for different varieties of Blue Poppy (June-July) and mountain birds. After crossing the last small ridge, you will gradually decent toward the main Junction pass, which crisscrosses each other for the trail towards Chamgang, Talekha, Ganekha and Gaselo. So just make a very short descent on your right, and then take left horizontally for few minutes towards Chamgang trail with about three to four small ridges to go up and down before you begin a steep downhill hike until you reach a Chamgang village

      Simtokha to Paro: (1 hour 20 mins) On completion of the trek you are be picked by our driver and transfer to Paro. After reaching Paro check in hotel, freshen up and go for sightseeing options today includes a visit to Kyichu Lhakhang and tour the old ruined fortress of the Drugyel Dzong, the historical site of the Fort of Drukpa Victory (14km from Paro) from which the Bhutanese used to repel the Tibetan invaders.On a clear day views of the 24,000 ft snow domed peaks of sacred Mt Jhomolhari can be seen.of the ancient Drugyel Dzong ruins.Dinner and overnight in Paro.

  • Day 7 Taktsang Monastery Hike

      Taktsang Monastery Hike

      Paro Take a pilgrimage hike to the Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tigers Nest. This is Bhutanโ€™s most revered monastery and all Bhutanese Buddhists strive to make a pilgrimage here at least once in their lives. Each step along the trail accrues merit points for their future. 

      Choose between a 2 hour round trip hike to the Monastery viewpoint or a longer 5 hour and more strenuous hike into the Monastery itself. Tigers Nest clings impossibly to a cliff of rock at 3000 ft above the valley floor and where Guru Rinpoche flew on the back of a tigress to subdue the local demons followed by 3 months meditation in a cave still visible in the monastery. In 1998 the monastery was seriously damaged by fire and has since been painstakingly reconstructed to its original condition and consecrated by the 4th King in 2005.After hike, go for relaxing hot stone bath and if time permits visit Paro town.Dinner and overnight in Paro.
