Flights

The domestic flight tickets are not included in the package cost. Once you tell us the dates of your travel, we will advise you the exact flight fare. International flight tickets have to be booked on your own, once you book your flight tickets, please share with us your schedule so that we can arrange your smooth pick-up and drop off from airport to hotel on your arrival day and hotel to the airport on the departure day. Passports and Visas : All travelers listed on the Participant Information form must be in possession of a valid passport and all relevant visas. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid travel documentation, including but not limited to passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other Government authorities at every destination. If your itinerary includes travel to any other country besides India, please check on visa requirements for each country that you will visit.       Upon your arrival at Delhi airport, the much awaited Delhi Agra Jaipur tour will begin. Our representative will escort you to the pre-booked hotel.

      On the second day, post breakfast, get ready to explore the wonderful sights of Old and New Delhi. Start with the beautiful Laxmi Narayan Temple and proceed to places to visit in Delhi like India Gate, a cenotaph commemorating Indian martyrs, Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Jama Masjid, Indiaโ€™s largest mosque. Visit the towering Qutab Minar, historical Purana Qila (Old Fort), Humayunโ€™s Tomb and Jantar Mantar observatory. Pay homage at Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhiโ€™s memorial. Later, witness the vivacious Sound & Light Show at Red Fort, a striking beauty in red sandstone.

      Return to hotel for overnight stay.

      After leisurely breakfast we drive to Pink city Jaipur by road, passing through rural villages, Aravalli hills and agricultural land. Upon arrival in Jaipur check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is completely yours. If you wish to visit some places the transport is available for you and your options are : Galta Ji is a large Hindu temple complex that lies 10 km outside of Jaipur city. Galta Ji Jaipur is a unique Hindu temple as it is centered on a natural spring that has been channeled to fill seven large pools. In these pools pilgrims come to bath away their sins while, at quiet moments, the playful monkeys can be found swimming in the holy waters. The temple is also home to a large colony of monkeys and this has given rise to the common name of the complex, the monkey temple. OR Laxmi Narayana Temple is an example of marvellous architecture. There are idols of Hindu Gods and Goddess, Hindy symbols, ancient quotes. On walls mythological events are carved and there are idols and images of saints, philosopher and historian like Buddha, Socrates, Zarathustra and Confucius. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

      Today you go out all day on an excursion, back to Amer fort 11 kms outside of Jaipur the former medieval capital, built by Raja Man Singh the commander of Rajput Akbar army in 1592. This landmark is a splendid representation of Rajput architecture. Enjoy your drive up to the fort passing through some of the oldest house and temple of the old city. After that thrilling ride youll steady your feet and be awestruck by the marvellous sight before you, marble palaces, mosaics, paintings, mirror works, carvings, mural walls and engravings. When touring Amber fort dont forget to visit 17 century Sheesh mahal (Hall of Mirrors), a chamber decorated with an array of mirrors on the walls and ceiling. The zenana courtyard, is a place you must see. It is a private womens residence designed with one corridor but different rooms so that the Maharaja (King) could visit the wife or concubines of his choice, at his pleasure without the others knowing. After visiting Amer fort, return to the city en route stop for the picture at Jal mahal (Water Palace), is a five story high palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. The four floor stay under the water it is only the fifth floor which is visible. Your next visit is the glorious City Palace; when you visit you get a feel for the wealth of Jaipurs royal family one of the richest in India. for a beautiful display of intricate craftsmanship see the superb peacock gate which shows off spectacular and bright peacock images at the entrance that will make you go WOW !Visit one of the best museums in India with an art gallery and exhibits of royal costumes and medieval Indian armaments. Admire an exclusive collection of regal costumes and marvellous shawls like the pashmina. In the middle of the place complex stands a pink and white marble paved gallery where the Maharaja conferred with their ministers called the Diwan-I-Khas (Hall of private audience). It is here that you will find what are considered to be the biggest silver object on earth; these are two mammoth silver vessels 1.6 m tall. Afterwards you visit Jantar mantar a gigantic solar observatory with a brilliant display of Indian architecture that shows the scientific expertise that existed in medieval India. It is made up of some 14 most important geometric devices which track the location of stars, measure time, predict eclipses, as well as earths orbit around the sun. It will be a surprise to you when you see that these instruments which the ancient people made of stone can carry out the same measurements of time and the suns movements as our modern day technology. Drive past Hawa mahal (Wind Palace) was built so that the royal ladies could view the Royal processions without anyone seeing them. If you have ever seen a giant beehive than that gives you an idea of the look of this five storey building. The Hawa mahal is beautifully decorated with lattice work, has some 953 tiny windows (Jharokhas) Overnight stay in Jaipur.

      After delicious breakfast drive to Agra. Enroute we make stop and the Ghost city Fatehpur sikri. Continue drive to Agra. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Evening visit Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Overnight stay in Agra.

      After breakfast, you will be transfered to New Delhi airport flight for Leh

      Arrival Leh, representative will meet, greet, assist and transfer you to Hotel in Leh. Rest of the day free to acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh. In the evening take a walk to the local bazaar in Leh. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Leh.

  • Day 8 Leh

      After breakfast visit Hall of Fame, Spituk Monastery, Kali Mata Temple, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib and Confluence of Zanskar - Indus rivers. Return to Leh for lunch (on own). In the evening walk to Leh bazaar where you can have magnificent views of the Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.


      LADAKH HALL OF FAME: The Hall of Fame is a glorious museum constructed by the Indian Army. It is worth a visit for every citizen. You can see the memorabilia, eminent defense personalities with biographies, images and  weapons used during the Kargil and other key strategic battles fought in Ladakh.  And belongings of the enemy soldiers found at war site. All the martyr and the gallantry awards. Hereโ€™s something that you will be proud of our defense personnel who sacrificed themselves so that we could live in peace.


      SPITUK GOMPA: 8 Kms from Leh, it stands prominently on the top of hillock commanding a panoramic view of the Indus Valley for miles. Many icons of Buddha and fine Thankas are to be found in this 15th century Gompa. The Gompa also houses a collection of ancient masks, antique arms, and an awe-inspiring image of Mahakaal. The face of the Kali image is kept covered and is revealed only at the annual function at January every year.


      MAGNETIC HILL : Defying the Law of gravity. This place is close to the Gurdwara Shri Patthar Sahib. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road the vehicle slides up-hill thatโ€™s the Believe it or not of Ladakh!


      GURDWARA SHRI PATTHAR SAHIB: Situated 25 miles from Leh, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib stands at the place where Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikh religion and the first guru, is believed to have vanquished a demon. According to legend, during his sojourn in Ladakh, Guru Nanak was attacked by a demon. The demon threw a large boulder on the guru as he sat at the base of a hill meditating. However, the rock became soft like molten wax and failed to cause any harm to the Sikh guru. The demon was in for a surprise when he found the Sikh guru unscathed. Bristling with fury, the demon tried to crush Guru Nanak by kicking the boulder with all his might. To his surprise, the demonโ€™s foot caused a deep impression in the boulder which had turned soft. Realizing that the man in front of him was no mortal soul, the demon underwent a transformation and stopped harassing the people. The boulder with the imprints of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the foot of daemon still rests there. The gurudwara is maintained today by the Indian Army. It is a tradition for vehicles to stop and pay obeisance at the temple.

      Early morning breakfast and proceed to Nubra Valley via the World Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla pass. Arrive Khalsar Sand Dunes and enjoy various Adventure Activities like ATV  ride, Worldโ€™s highest and longest Zipline ride, Cycle Zipline, and Bungee Jumping among other activities. You can enjoy delicious lunch there as well (on own). Later visit Hunder Sand Dunes and Diskit monastery and check in at your camp / resort. Dinner and overnight at Nubra Valley.


      KHARDUNGLA PASS: The road journey to Nubra valley leads through Khardung La pass (The highest Motorable road in the world) 18,390 ft. around 39 Kms. Away from Leh. There are two checkpoints on the both sides of the pass. Khardong is the first village of Nubra valley at higher altitude than Deskit and other villages.


      DESERT HIMALAYA ADVENTURE PARK : The Adventure Park is famous for the ATV rides over the White Sand Dunes. This is also the place where some scenes of the superhit movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag were shot. The Adventure park has the Worldโ€™s longest zipline at highest altitude. The adventure seekers can go ahead and enjoy 03 Kms ZIPLINE ride, Bungee free fall, Cycle Zipline among other activities there. The multi-cuisine restaurant serves buffet lunch at very nominal charges.   


      DISKIT GOMPA: Deskit Gompa was founded by Lama Sherab Zangpo of Stod in about 1420 AD during the reign of King Dragspa. About 100 monks are residing in the Gompa, which is a branch of Thikse Monastery. The monastic festival called Gustor takes place on 20th and 21st days of the 12th month of Tibetan calendar

  • Day 10 Nubra - Pangong (160Km - 5 Hours)

      After early breakfast proceed to Pangong Lake, driving through the beautiful Shyok River Valley. Arrive Pangong and visit the lake. Checkin to your camp / resort. Evening free to explore the lake area.  and overnight at Pangong.


      THE PANGONG LAKE : This route takes the visitor past the picturesque villages of Shey and Thiksey, and turns off the Indus valley by the side valley of Chemrey and Sakti. The Ladakh range is crossed by the Chang-la (18,000 feet / 5,475 M) which despite its great elevation is one of the easier passes, remaining open for much of the year even in winter, apart from periods of actual snowfall. Tangse, just beyond the foot of the pass, has an ancient temple. 


      But the main attraction of this circuit is the Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 M). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometers at its widest point to which foreigners are permitted, is only some seven km along the southern shore from the head of the lake, but it affords spectacular views of the mountains of the Changchenmo range to the north, their reflection shimmering in the ever-changing blues and greens of the lakes brackish water. Above Spangmik are the glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Pangong range

      After breakfast, drive to Thiksey village, visit Thiksey monastery and drive to Shey Village to visit Shey Palace and Gompa. Continue drive to Hemis monastery to visit one of the most famous monasteries of Ladakh. Later on the way back to Leh get down at the Sindhu Ghat for Sindhu Darshan and walk along the river. After spending some time at the river return to Hotel and relax.  overnight at the hotel in Leh.
