  • Day 1 Day 1: Negombo

      Day 1: Negombo

      On your arrival at the airport, you will be met by your personal driver/guide for this Special Sri Lanka Tour. Your first stop, Negombo Beach is only 15 minutes away by car and the perfect place to acclimatize. The picturesque beach, a generous swimming pool and *class hotel services will make it easy to get over jet lag and to experience your first taste of the famous Sri Lankan hospitality. Depending on your arrival time, you can visit in the afternoon Negombo’s historical centre, the harbour and a nearby fishing village.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Colombo - South Coast Train Journey - Matara - Tangalle

      Day 2: Colombo - South Coast Train Journey - Matara - Tangalle

      In the morning you will be leaving for the Central Railway Station in Colombo, from where you will travel by train along the South Coast to Matara. On your way you will be passing many well known beach resorts like Bentota, Hikkaduwa, Unawatuna, Mirissa. To name a few...

      To make your journey comfortable and safe, the driver will follow with your luggage and meet you again at the Matara Railway Station. From there it is only a short trip further along to Tangalle. Tangalle is well known for its tranquility, deserted beaches and its unique ECO system. A place for the more individual travelers to Sri Lanka.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Mulkigigala Rock Temple Monastery - Hum Manaya Blowhole - Turtle Hatchery

      Today your driver will visit with you the nearby local villages, the best beaches for swimming, diving and/or sun bathing, the Mulkigigala Rock Temple Monastery, the Hum Manaya blowhole and a Turtle Hatchery.

  • Day 4 Day 4-6: Secret Beaches - Optional Yala National Park, Udawalawe National Park And/Or Temple City Of Kataragama

      There is enough to do and to see around Rekawa and Tangalle, but Yala National Park*, Udawalawe National Park* and the Temple City of Kataragama* are nearby and can easily be accessed by public transport, Tuk-Tuk (local three-wheeler) or taxi. Your driver will return on your last day of the tour only, however the hotel will be happy to assist with any excursion you have in mind.

On the way you can visit either the Kalametiya Bird Sanctuary, one of oldest and main bird sanctuary in Sri Lanka or the colonial period Galle Fort, a world heritage site.
