Welcome to Sri Lanka, a land like no other, and 14 days of explorations, showing you the best of the cultural adventure, the lush green tea estates and waterfalls, the amazing wildlife, and the beautiful golden sandy beaches. Upon arrival at Colombo CMB airport, you will meet your tour leader and you will be transferred to your hotel (we can pick you up from any hotel in Colombo or Negombo as well).  The ๏ฌrst destination will be Negombo coastal town (20min away from the airport), which has long been known as the most popular beach in Sri Lanka, famous for its golden sandy beach, food, and fun.

      DAY PLAN:

      • For day one, we havenโ€™t planned any activity, thus you are free to arrive in Sri Lanka at any time (we offer 24/7 airport transfer service).
      • You will spend the day relaxing on the beach and pool of your cozy hotel.

      After having a delicious breakfast with a hot cup of Sri Lankan tea or coffee, you will have a wonderful journey across the stunning Sri Lankan countryside towards Anuradhapuraโ€™s ancient city (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

      DAY PLAN:

      • Upon arrival take a tour around the ancient city, Sri Lanka has a rich heritage and Anuradhapura is one of the greatest and oldest civilizations in the world. It was the first capital, ruled by 113 kings for over 1000 years. 
      • Thereafter, visit Sri Maha Bodhi, the sacred tree under which Lord Buddha attained Enlightenment and that has stood with pride for more than 2200 years. 
      • Afternoon,  visit Ruwanweliseya, a monument built in 140 BC that embodies the Culture, Heritage, and Supremacy of the strongest kingdom in Sri Lankan history.

Trincomalee is an amazing multicultural town with lovely places such as Nilaveli Beach, Natural hot well, and Koneshwaram Kovil with its white sands and gentle waves, Trincomalee Beach is the ultimate getaway for those who desire a relaxing vacation in Sri Lanka. Here you will experience a quiet bliss in a tropical heaven, far away from the busy and chaotic life.

  • Day 4 Kingdom Of Polonnaruwa / Pidurangala Monastry

      Kingdom Of Polonnaruwa / Pidurangala Monastry

      After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will travel towards Dambulla, which is the central point of the cultural triangle in the country. 

      DAY PLAN:

      • Upon arrival, visit Polonnaruwa (UNESCO World Heritage Site), in 1070 King Vijayabahu chose this place as his kingdom, one of the most ancient in the history of Sri Lanka. Cycling through Polonnaruwaโ€™s ancient locations is a wonderful experience.
      • Afternoon, join with trekking to Pidurangala Forest Monastery (optional activity) to witness and take photos of the sunset. Climbing Pidurangala rock is a bit challenging, so you should not attempt it if you are not physically strong enough. There is no clear path to the top: steep paths and uneven steps give way to an expanse of boulders and crevices that climbers must navigate in order to reach the summit. Make sure you have mosquito spray if bites trouble you

      • In the morning, visit Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site), since itโ€™s the best time to witness and capture the beautiful scenery of sunset from the summit. King Kasyapa (477 โ€“ 495 AD) built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colorful frescoes. Known as one of the wonders of the world due to the amazing architecture & technology being used. 
      • Afterthat, youโ€™ll enjoy a wonderful cultural village tour while exploring the beautiful countryside. It is a great opportunity to get close to unique local culture & life style of Sri Lankan people.  It will start with a Tuk Tuk ride and a catemaran boat ride across the lake before reaching the farmerโ€™s house where you will experience a Sri Lankan curry cooking demostration & authentic countryside food

      After breakfast, proceed towards Kandy, the capital of the last Sinhalese kingdom. Itโ€™s set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and bio-diverse rainforests. Kandy is also famous for its sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth Relic.

      DAY PLAN:

      • En-route to Kandy, visit the Royal Cave Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site) Dambulla has the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 meters over the surrounding plains and houses 5 cave temples with some of the most unique and signi๏ฌcant historical drawings.
      • Afterwards, continue your drive to Kandy, enroute stop at Matale Spice Garden.
      • Afternoon, visit the Temple of Tooth Relic (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Kandy viewpoint.
      • Evening, youโ€™ll enjoy by engaging with a cultural dance show which is inspired by Sri Lankan arts, traditional dance, and cultural heritage.

      After breakfast, youโ€™ll have a wonderful journey towards Sri Lankaโ€™s tea region of Nuwara Eliya. It is often referred to as โ€œLittle Englandโ€ because many of the buildings in this city retain from the British colonial period, such as the Queenโ€™s Cottage, the Generalโ€™s House, the Grand Hotel, the Hill Club, and the Town Post Of๏ฌce.

      DAY PLAN:

      • Morning, step into Gem Museum; get to know more about the World-renowned and most prestigious Sri Lankan gems and jewelry and how they have been made using traditional techniques. 
      • En-route to Nuwara Eliya, stop at the Peradeniya Royal Garden, which is known as one of the best Botanical gardens in Asia. You will walk through it by exploring the 300 varieties of orchids, a stately avenue of royal palms, the extraordinary, aptly named cannonball fruit tree, and 40m-high Burma bamboo. Another big hit is the giant ๏ฌg tree on the great lawn, with its colossal central trunk and umbrella-like canopy of branches.
      • While driving through the cold and misty hills that host lush green tea plantations, stop at a tea factory to observe the rich tradition of making Ceylon tea kept alive up to date. Make sure to end your factory visit in style over a perfectly blended cup of tea.
      • Afternoon, you will walk through Nuwara Eliya city centre and the fruit and vegetable market.

      • In the morning, you will enjoy a spectacular train journey from Nanu-Oya station to Ella village. It is known as one of the most picturesque hill country train journeys in the world (Train tickets will be arranged at the station / Class category is subject to availability).
      • Explore the village; Ella is everyoneโ€™s favorite hill country village because itโ€™s a wonderful nature-friendly location. The Nine Arch Bridge, a major tourist attraction in Ella, is a massive bridge built entirely of solid rocks, bricks, and cement without using a single piece of steel. Ella is an excellent place for walking and its most famous trekking route is โ€œMini Adamโ€™s Peakโ€.
      • Evening, you could chill out at the village center where there are lots of restaurants, pubs and evening entertainment.

      After breakfast, depart to Ella towards Yala National Park, the largest and most stunning national park in Sri Lanka. Yala National Park has been divided into two sections thanks to a river running through it. Because the river makes crossing difficult to the other side, Yala is treated as two separate parks. But that doesnโ€™t change the fantastic offerings! Encompassing a range of diverse ecosystems, the park has an impressive variety of wildlife, including sloth bears, leopards, and lots of colorful birds.

      • Early morning, join with trekking to Ella Rock to capture the sunrise (optional activity).
      • En-route to Yala, stop at Ravana waterfall, another popular sightseeing attraction in Ella.
      • Afternoon, enjoy a 4x4 jeep ride searching for leopards hanging on trees or whispering through the bushes, crocodiles patrolling the river, or baby elephants drinking water and playing around under the evening sunset.

      • Early in the morning, if you are up to it, you could jump into a boat for an amazing ride on the sea to capture the blue whales and dolphins. Mirissa is one of the best places in the world to spot the biggest creature on the planet. Please note that whale watching is a SEASONAL activity. 
      • Thereafter, relax on the beach or by the pool of your cosy hotel.

      After breakfast, youโ€™ll continue your journey along the beautiful south coast towards Galle, a city well known for its Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site). It is the intersection where classic Dutch and British architecture meets a tropical setting, creating a vivid atmosphere in beauty.

      DAY PLAN:

      • En-roue to Galle, stop at Matara to witness and take pictures of the most famous Sri Lankan Stilt Fishermen.
      • Upon arrival to Galle. walk through the Galle Fort listening to the creaks of wooden saloon doors and observe how European architecture mingles with South Asian traditions nowadays ๏ฌ‚ooding cultural enthusiasts on a global scale.
      • Thereafter, youโ€™ll visit a turtle hatchery centre where baby turtles learn to take their first swim and injured adults are rehabilitated back into the ocean. 
      • Evening, check-in to your hotel and relax on the beach or by the pool.

      DAY PLAN:

      • Upon arrival at Colombo, you have the opportunity to visit all the highlighted places in the city such as Red Mosque, Gangarama temple, Independent Square, and so on.
      • Afterward, perhaps you may pop into a famous and internationally renowned restaurant in Colombo to end your trip over an unforgettable meal.
