Chandni Chowk is one of the most vibrant markets in India. Created by Shah Jahan, a Mughal Emperor, it is filled with stalls selling clothes, electronics, and street food. The famous Parantha Wali Gali is located within Chandni Chowk.

Red Fort: Built on the banks of the Yamuna River, Red Fort is a remarkable example of Mughal architecture in India. This massive structure extends over 2 kilometers.

Qutub Minar: One of the first architectural masterpieces of the Mughals in India, this 72-meter-tall tower has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Humayunโ€™s Tomb: Built in 1570, this tomb is of particular cultural significance as it was the first garden tomb on the Indian subcontinent. It inspired several major architectural innovations, culminating in the construction of the Taj Mahal.

Akshardham Temple: โ€™Akshardhamโ€™ means the divine abode of God. It is renowned as a place of devotion, purity, and peace. Swaminarayan Akshardham in New Delhi is a Hindu temple and a spiritual and cultural campus dedicated to devotion, learning, and harmony.

At dawn, you can observe the effects of the changing colors of the rising sun reflecting on this masterpiece. Around 5:30 a.m. (summer) or 6:15 a.m. (winter), your driver and guide will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the Taj Mahal.

Taj Mahal: The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the banks of the Yamuna River. Commissioned in 1632 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it houses the tomb of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. After your visit, return to the hotel for breakfast and then proceed to Agra Fort.

Agra Fort: Also known as the Red Fort, Agra Fort is a large 16th-century fortress made of red sandstone, located on the Yamuna River in the historic city of Agra. It was the former imperial residence of the Mughal Dynasty and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After lunch, depart from Agra to Jaipur. On the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the former capital city of the Mughal Empire.

Fatehpur Sikri: This ancient fortified city served as the Mughal capital between 1572 and 1585 during Emperor Akbarโ€™s reign. Its stunning mosque features both Persian and Hindu design elements and is protected by a 54-meter-high entrance.

Amber Fort: Amer was once the capital of the princely state of Jaipur, and the fort served as the residence of its Rajput rulers. Located high on a hill, it is the principal tourist attraction in the Jaipur area. The fort was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013. Its architecture is a remarkable fusion of Rajput (Hindu) and Mughal (Islamic) styles. (You can also enjoy an elephant ride at Amber Fort.)

City Palace: The City Palace in Jaipur includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces, among other buildings. It is a palace complex that reflects the grandeur of the Rajput era.

Jantar Mantar: The Jantar Mantar is a collection of 19 astronomical instruments built by Rajput King Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. Designed for the observation of astronomical positions with the naked eye, these instruments represent several architectural and instrumental innovations. It is the most significant, comprehensive, and best-preserved of Indiaโ€™s historic observatories, showcasing the astronomical skills and cosmological concepts of the Mughal period.

Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace): A symbol of Rajput architectural style, Hawa Mahal, also known as the "Palace of Winds," is a signature monument of Jaipur. Its sheer magnificence and beauty are striking. It was built as a high screen wall so that the women of the royal household could observe street festivals without being seen from the outside.
