  • Day 2 Delhi

      Today after breakfast start the full day sightseeing tour of New & Old Delhi- The former center of Mughal power which offers ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling markets. Visit drive past Red Fort built in 1648 by the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan famous for his great edifice of love the Taj Mahal. 

      Also see the biggest mosque in India the Jama Masjid, constructed by Shah Jahan in 1658. Then take a Cycle Rickshaw Ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk to get a feel of the royal life of the Mughal emperors.

      Post lunch sightseeing tour of โ€œ New Delhi โ€œ which came into existence much later, and is also known as Lutyens Delhi, taking after the name of a British architect who was largely responsible in designing India Gate, Humayunโ€™s Tomb, Grand Presidential House, Secretariat, Parliament House and many other buildings in that area. Also visit the recent jewel in the crown, Lotus Temple from outside and then drive on to see the tallest tower in Delhi, known as Qutub Minar, which declared the arrival and rise of Islam in India. 

      Evening return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

      Later drive to visit the Shekhavati region an important town of the years gone by, to see number of remarkable Havelis and Castles in the nearby towns of Nawalgarh and Laxmangarh. These havelis are museums in themselves, numerous havelis built by the rich merchants as their residence in 18th and 19th century.  

      In the evening visiting Mandawa town, stroll through the bustling bazaars and pick up things of your interest.

      BIKANER- If ever beauty has bloomed in a desert, it has been at Bikaner. Founded in 1488 AD by Rao Bika Ji, itโ€™s located in North West part of Rajasthan state in INDIA. The imposing palaces, beautiful and richly sculptured temples of red and yellow sand stones display some of the finest creations of Rajput civilization. Itโ€™s lust for "dessert"or affection for "desert" that tickles every heart to visit Bikaner. 

      Later take an excursion tour of Bikaner covering Junagarh Fort โ€“ Constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Rai Singh, fort has a 986 meter long wall with 37 bastions & two entrances, visit Lalgarh Palace, residence of Royal family of Bikaner.

      Jaisalmer - The golden city Jaisalmer was founded by Rawal Jaisal, A Bhati Rajput Ruler in 1156 A.D. It was taken name Jaisalmer from Jaisal - Name of the founder king and Meru - Name of the Jaisalmer fort which is on the trikut hill. 

      Evening optionally you can go for Camel Safari at Sun N Dunes Village.

      This morning after breakfast check out from the camp and start the sightseeing around Jaisalmer and visit attractions like Jaisalmer Fort, Havelis like Patwon-ki-haveli, Nathmalji ki Haveli, Salim Singh ki haveli, along with Bada Bagh, and Gadsisar Lake.

      Jaisalmer Fort is amongst the biggest in the world and it is also listed under UNESCO World Heritage

      Site. This majestic fort was completed in 1156 AD on the orders of Rajput Ruler, Rawal Jaisal.

      The bright yellow sandstone fort overlooks the city and the Thar. It consists of different architectural styles of Rajput and Mughal. Inside the complex, you can also find a Laxminath Temple. Other must-see places here are the four huge gateways, Ganesh Pol, Akshaya Pol, Suraj Pol, and Hawa Pol.

      Patwon-ki-haveli, on the other hand, is the largest Havelis which took over 55 years to complete. The construction of the haveli was started by Guman Chand Patwa. The Havelis striking design and the gold shade glitters against the sun. You can find many Jharokhas (windows), wall paintings, stunning mirror work, and archways. It certainly is a beautiful work of art.

      Jodhpurโ€“ The capital of the former princely state of Marwar is now the second largest city of Rajasthan. Flanked on its western side by the Meharangarh Fort, and on the eastern side by the stately sandstone Palace of Umaid Bhawan; the monuments, temples and gardens of Jodhpur depict a multi-faceted grandeur. Founded in 1459 A.D. by the Rao Jodha, Jodhpur gradually grew around the towering Mehrangarh Fort build as stronghold on the advice of a sage. The beauty and the imagination that have gone into the making of this monumental city proclaim the life-springs of creative genius that appear Incongruent with harshness of this land and its climate.

      This morning after breakfast drive to visit Meharangarh Fort- Crowning a perpendicular cliff, the fort was founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 A.D., when he shifted his capital from Mandore. Standing sentinel to the city below, it overlook the rugged and rocky terrain and houses a palace intricately adorned with long carved panels and latticed windows exquisitely wrought from red sandstone. Carved panels and porches, elaborately adorned windows and walls of Moti Mahal (Pearl Palace), Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Sileh Khana and Daulat Khana, seem to make the medieval splendour come alive. A collection of palanquins, hawdas, royal cradles, miniature paintings of various schools, folk music, instruments, costumes, furniture and an impressive armoury. 

      Visit Jaswant Thada- Build in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh ll in 1899, the imposing white marble memorial marks the site of royal crematorium. It houses portraits of successive rulers. The four cenotaphs around here commemorate notable acts of bravery and generosity of the four successive rulers. 

      Evening Visit Umaid Bhawan Palace, Sardar Market and clock Tower.

      Morning after breakfast full day sighseeing tour of Udaipur including driver to visit the Grand City Palace Museum and towers over the Pichola Lake. Maharana Uday Singh initiated in the construction of the palace but succeeding Maharanisโ€™ added several palaces and structures to the complex retained a surprising uniformity to the design. 

      Visit Jagdish Temple- The exterior and the plinth are covered with base relief of alligators; elephants, horsemen and celestial musicians rise in tears. Chanting, bells and music can be heard throughout the day. 

      Shalio Kee Badi- The "garden of the maids of honour", Sahelion-ki-Bari was designed and laid out early in the eighteenth century as a retreat for ladies of the royal household to spend their time in leisure. The lotus pool, fountains, lawns, flowerbeds, and marble pavilions all combine to make it a captivating place.  Visit Dilkhush palace, sheesh Mahal, Moti Mahal, Krishna Villas.

      This morning after breakfast visit impressive Amber Fort (Elephant Ride at Amber Fort) situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill you will mount your caparisoned elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate, making your entrance in the time honoured fashion. The Fort, completed in the early 18th century, took over 100 years to build and now, although deserted, offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the Moghul ruling families. 

      Later afternoon tour of the City - "The Pink City" is spectacularly set within surrounding rugged hills, dotted with ancient ruined fortresses. Your tour will include the imposing City Palace, still home to the Maharaja although several of the rooms are now open to the public. Many antiques and artifacts belonging to the ruling family are housed here, including a collection of weaponry.  

      You will also visit the Hawa Mahal "Palace of the Winds", and the open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory to see the vast astronomical, instruments. 

      Also visit Albert hall, enjoy a stroll through the colorful bazaar before returning to your hotel.

  • Day 14 Jaipur - Agra ( 5 Hrs Drive ) Via Abhaneri

      This morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and driver to Agra. En-route visit Abhaneri - The present name of the village, โ€™Abhaneriโ€™, is believed to be a mispronunciation of โ€™Abha Nagriโ€™ or the โ€™city of brightnessโ€™. This ancient village in Rajasthan is renowned for its post-Gupta or early medieval monuments, Chand Baori and Harshat Mata temple.  

      Upon arrival Agra and check Inn to Hotel. 

      After wash and change drive to visit Agra fortโ€“ the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience; the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms. 

      Evening Sunset Taj Mahal from Mehtab Bagh- Although the width of the garden is aligned with the width of Taj Mahal, Mehtab Bagh was not built for Taj Mahal, it was literally the opposite. This garden has been in the city, several centuries before Taj Mahal appeared. This as the garden built in 16th century by Babur. This garden was tagged as the โ€˜moonlit pleasure gardenโ€™. This garden has kept its beauty for several centuries as; even Shah Jahan admired the garden. From this spot, he chose the right spot for his Taj Mahal.

      Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

      Return back to Hotel and after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive back to Delhi to board the flight for your onward destinations.
