      Bem-vindo in Brazil! After landing at the international airport of Rio de Janeiro, you will be welcomed and warmly welcomed. On the transfer to the hotel on Copacabana you can get a first impression of the former capital of Brazil, which is wonderfully embedded between numerous hills and bays. From a distance you can certainly take a look at the two landmarks of the city: the statue of Christ and the Sugar Loaf. The rest of the day can be used as free time.

      After spending the first night in Rio, you can look forward to the most beautiful moments in the metropolis!

      After a delicious breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel and start the day on an exciting day. You will first be taken to the top of Mount Corcovado for breathtaking views of the city center. Corcovado is home to the famous statue of Christ that surrounds the city. It is 38 meters high and represents the faith and goodness of Carioca, the people of Rios.

      There is a stop to visit the Maracana (outside only) and the opportunity to learn a little about the history of the last phase of the football World Cup in 1950 and 2014.

      During this half day tour, you will also see the Selaron Stairs, Sambadrome and the Cathedral.

      Today you can look forward to a trip to the famous Sugar Loaf and the old town of Rio. After breakfast you will be picked up by your guide and start another exciting day in Brazilโ€™s mega-metropolis. Two cable cars take you from the Urca district via the Morro de Urca to the Morro de Pรฃo de Aรงรบcar, the Sugar Loaf. This granite block, which is now a symbol of Rio, was called "pau-nh-acuga" by the natives, which means high, pointed mountain. This became "Pรฃo de Aรงรบcar" in Portuguese, meaning carrot. The 360 ยฐ panoramic view from the top of the Sugar Loaf at an altitude of 395 m above sea level is breathtaking. You can look out over the golden beaches, the green rainforest, and a thriving city.

      After breakfast, a half-day tour awaits you.

      On this tour through the lush Tijuca rainforest, you will visit the Chinese viewpoint with a fantastic view of Copacabana as well as Ipanema Beach, Guanabara Bay and Sugar Loaf Mountain. With a little luck, you might see monkeys, sloths, or topical birds.

      You will learn about the Taunay waterfall and visit the beautiful Mayrink Chapel.

      We end our tour in the botanical garden. On an area of around 140 hectares, the botanical garden fascinates with its around 6500 plant species. The Rio Botanical Garden is one of the ten most important of its kind in the world. Some of the 128 palm trees in the main avenue "Barbosa Rodrigues" date from the time the garden was created.       The Schooner Cruise is the most famous tour in Paraty! Mandatory for those who want to enjoy incredible experiences on their trip and explore the most beautiful natural attractions of the region: the paradisiacal islands and beaches with calm and crystalline waters that exist in the Bay of Paraty, rich in vegetation forming beautiful scenarios, worthy of postcards and even works of art! Recommended for all ages, this tour is a must! The stops last about 30 to 40 minutes at each point (there are 4 stops in total), being the ideal moment to relax by the sea, sunbathe, dive, take a pleasant walk on the clear sands of the beaches or even stay on board the boat, enjoying the view and enjoying a drink or a delicious homemade food freshly made in our kitchen. The boats are accredited and approved by the Port Authority, are of total safety and comfort, and have a complete infrastructure for your moments of leisure.

      The transfer is in two parts: From Paraty to Angra dos Reis and Boat to Vila do Abraรฃo.

  • Day 8 Take A Boat Tour Around The Island

      Take A Boat Tour Around The Island

      After breakfast at the hotel head independently to the pier in Abraรฃo to begin a boat excursion of the island of Ilha Grande passing by Lagoa Verde, Lagoa Azul (natural aquariums), Saco do Cรฉu, Praia do amor and Praia da Feiticeira.

      During the excursion there will be a stop for a buffet lunch (not included).

      The tour will last about 6 hours until late afternoon. At the end of the excursion you will be released at the pier in Abraรฃo.

      Today is at your disposal.

      Many excursions are possible in Ilha Grande:

      • Boat trip to the paradise islands of Angra dos Reis via Botinas Islands (natural aquarium), Ilha de Cataguaz (beach), Praia do dentista, Praia da Piedade and Praia das flechas.
      • Lopes Mendes or Aventureiro beaches. For the sporty, we recommend the approximately 2.30-hour trek to Lopes Mendes or Aventureiro (coconut tree lying) beach, considered two of the most beautiful and heavenly beaches on the island. There are also boats in the port of Abraรฃo that offer round-trip sea transportation to both beaches.
      • Ilha Grande has some waterfalls within it, and Cachoeira da Feiticeira is the most famous and "accessible." The path to it has some steep and slippery sections. It is a 1h30 walk from Abraรฃo, through the Aqueduct, along a relatively well-marked path. Another option is to hire a taxi-boat that will drop you off at Praia da Feiticeira, saving 30 minutes of walking.

      Breakfast in the pousada and free morning. In the afternoon, please make your own way to the main dock to take the boat to Conceiรงรฃo de Jacarei and then a transfer return to Rio de Janeiro.
