Transport

All airport transfers are included on the first day of the tour along with the airport transfers regarding the flight in between. Transfer to Kayseri Airport on the last day of the tour is included in the price. On all the other days on this tour, you will be picked up from your accommodation to begin your tour & dropped back to your hotel at the end of the day. On days 1, 4 and 5 your will take domestic flights arranged by Alaturka.

      Welcome to Turkey!

      Flight Istanbul to Ephesus

      On this first day of your 5-day tour, you will fly from Istanbul to Izmir, where you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel for a relaxed night before your full-day tour of Ephesus the next morning.

      We will only book connecting flights to Izmir after we have received your flight details, to ensure convenience and enough time to catch the next flight directly from Istanbul

  • Day 2 Day 2: Ancient City Of Ephesus

      Day 2: Ancient City Of Ephesus

      Most people have seen pictures of or heard of Ephesus but it never really prepares you for what you will see a city where over 200,000 people lived. Itโ€™s magnificent, it is not difficult to see how the city was 3000 years ago. The ancient capital of Roman Asia, you will visit the Grand Amphitheatre with over 25,000 seats. The Library of Celsus, one of the most photographed ruins in the world, the Gymnasium, Agora, Latrines and Brothel. The main street is amazing to walk down the atmosphere hard to describe almost transporting you back in time with the shop fronts, prison and civic buildings. 

      The Temple Of Artemis known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Today one can only see the foundations of this incredible construction of the Hellenistic Age, entirely made of marble and full of sculptured columns capitals and shafts, many of the most beautiful excavations currently exhibited in the London British Museum. The oldest remaining relics date back to the 6th century BC.

      House Of Virgin Mary a place of pilgrimage for many faiths, it is believed Mary spent the remainder of her days here. The house is located on top of Bulbul Mountain, it offers visitors a panoramic view over the town.

      Isabey Mosque was constructed between1374 and 1375. One of the best examples of Seljukian architecture, situated below the Basilica of Saint John, built by the master builder Ali of Damascus. Crown-like doors from the Seljukian architectural style open up to the rest of the Mosque now combined with elements of Ottoman style. The influential details including the plant motifs and the beautiful marble workmanship with the variety of glazed mosaics create the unique atmosphere of Isabey Mosque.(BL)

  • Day 3 Day 3: Pamukkale

      Day 3: Pamukkale

      After breakfast today, it will be time to travel to the wonderful, almost unbelievable landscape of Pamukkale, literally translated as the cotton castle and as soon as you see the white cascading pools you will understand why.

      After lunch, you will be able to walk along the fascinating ridges and pools that have formed as the water, enriched with carbonate minerals has found its way down the mountainside. A truly unique and magical place, for thousands of years people have come here for the healing thermal waters.

      You will return to the Ephesus region for your overnight stay in Ephesus (BL)

  • Day 4 Day 4: Flight To Cappadocia

      Day 4: Flight To Cappadocia

      Depending on your Flight time, you will have a free half-day in Ephesus or in Cappadocia.

      We will return you to the airport in Izmir where you will catch your flight in Cappadocia. Upon arrival, you will have the rest of your day to explore Cappadocia.

      OPTIONAL TOUR: ATV (QUAD) BIKE SAFARI. See Cappadocia from a different perspective and feel the rush of adrenalin, our fully guided Quad Safari. Ride on a quad bike and experience this landscape in a completely different way. Starting at approximately 17:00 pm a great opportunity to see an amazing view of this ancient valley.

      - Evening -  

      OPTIONAL TOUR: TURKISH NIGHT SHOW a special evening that you will never forget. Full of Turkish Culture and Traditions but also great entertainment. You will be picked up from your hotel in the evening and taken to a cave restaurant in the heart of Cappadocia, the show ends approximately around midnight.

      - Early Morning - 

      OPTIONAL TOUR: CAPPADOCIA HOT AIR BALLOON FLIGHT  This activity is a must in Cappadocia and is the perfect way to start the day by seeing the breathtaking views of this amazing landscape from above. This tour comes at an extra cost. 

      North Cappadocia Tour Your final day is full of unbelievable sights, fantastic activities and a return flight to Istanbul. 

      Your tour begins in the Goreme Open Air Museum and continues on to Monks Valley, and Devrent Valley. Along the route, you will see the Three Beauties and the Avanos and Cavusin villages. 

      Flight From Cappadocia to Istanbul

      After your tour ends, we will take you to the airport where you will catch your return flight to Istanbul. (BL)
