There will be enough space for one medium size checked bag per passenger and one small cabin bag - 3 star hotel with breakfast (no other meals are included) - Day 1: Arrival - Drop to the hotel from the airport by a private cab. - Day 1: Key Attractions of Cologne - This day is at leisure and you will have to explore the city on your own. - Day 2: Day Trip to Koblenz - Transfer to Koblenz is included. You will have to explore this place on your own. - Day 3: Day Trip to Burg Drachenfels - Transfer to Konigswinter is included. You will have to reach the meeting point on your own. - Day 4: Departure from Cologne - drop to the airport from hotel by private cab.

Although you may be joining groups for certain sightseeing activities (if mentioned in the itinerary) and for your walking tour, overall this is not a coach tour (in which everything is managed from airport to airport). Please note that for all sightseeings, the activity starts from a meeting point. You are expected to reach the meeting point on your own. We hope that is okay with you. Also the transfers from train station/bus station to hotel and vice versa are not included. For this purpose you can easily haul a cab. This way the need to manage bags on your own will be limited.       Today embark on a day trip from Cologne to Koblenz, a scenic ride of about 1.5 to 2 hours by catching an early train from Cologne Hauptbahnhof to Koblenz Hauptbahnhof. Immerse yourself in the charm of the Old Town (Altstadt) starting at the iconic Deutsches Eck (German Corner). Discover Jesuitenplatz and Liebfrauenplatz with historic architecture and inviting cafes. Ascend to the heights of Koblenz Castle and revel in panoramic vistas of the Rhine and surrounding countryside while exploring the fortress. . Exploring as the Church of Our Lady, Electoral Palace, or strolling through the Rhine Gardens. Return to Koblenz Hauptbahnhof for your train journey back to Cologne, savoring the scenic Rhine views. Begin your journey by taking a train from Cologne Hauptbahnhof to Kรถnigswinter, a scenic ride of approximately 40 minutes. Upon arrival in Kรถnigswinter, make your way to the base of Drachenfels hill, where Burg Drachenfels sits majestically atop. Choose between hiking up the hill or taking the Drachenfelsbahn railway for a leisurely ascent to the castle ruins. Explore the remnants of Burg Drachenfels, soaking in its medieval charm and panoramic views of the Rhine Valley. Uncover the castleโ€™s legends, including ties to the Nibelungenlied and the fabled dragon slain by Siegfried.
