Bangkok has great shopping, plenty of culture, amazing temples, delicious food and a decent art scene. Most of Bangkokโ€™s sights are concentrated on the island of Rattanakosin, often referred to as the Old City. The Grand Palace is the absolute must see site. The Grand Palace complex also houses the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Phra Keow, the most sacred Buddhist temple.

      Ko Mak is a small island in the province of Trat, in the Asian country of Thailand. This island is named after the areca nut (เธซเธกเธฒเธ). Ko Mak has 27 km of coastline, many long sandy beaches, some hills and is around 16 square kilometers in area. At low tide, it is possible to walk to Ko Kham, which is a smaller island less than 1 km northwest of Ko Mak. Ko Phi, also northwest of Ko Mak, but southwest of Ko Kham, is unoccupied.
