  • Day 1 Delhi Sightseeing And Delhi To Agra (3 Hrs 30 Mins Drive)

      Our friendly representative cum Driver will meet you at the New Delhi Airport / Hotel / Railway Station to receive you and take you to explore Old and New Delhi Sightseeing.

      Your guide will meet you and be ready to show you the best of Old and New Delhi. The tour will start with Old Delhi where you will visit the Jama Mosque - the largest mosque in India. In continuation, we take a Rickshaw ride (Pedi cabs) through the 300-year-old Chandni Chowk Bazaar to explore the historical lanes of Old Delhi and Asiaโ€™s largest spice market.

      At the end of the rickshaw ride, we move on to Raj Ghat, the memorial of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is a peaceful place with beautiful gardens.


      Later we head to British Delhi (New Delhi), drive past the official home of the President of India (Rashtrapati Bhavan) and Indiaโ€™s highest legislative body the parliament building. Also, visit the iconic India Gate memorial to 90,000 Indian soldiers who died during World War 1.


      Visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib โ€“ Famous Sikh Temple, Humayun Tomb and  last visit for the day will be to Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage site. 


      After sightseeing straight drive to Agra. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Agra.

      Enjoy a sunrise-guided tour of the Taj Mahal - memorial to Love is the tomb of Mumtaz Mahal, the wife of the 5th Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, the Worldโ€™s richest man of his time. There are many architectural buildings in the world but what makes this building different is the love story behind this monument of Love.


      Return to hotel for breakfast. 


      After breakfast visit Agra Fort one of the three strategic forts built by Mughal emperors. It enjoyed great prestige and significance when Agra served as its capital. The Mughal treasury was always kept in this massive giant fort. 


      Later drive to the Jaipur route and visit Fatehpur Sikri and Abhaneri Step wells. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Jaipur.

      After breakfast Visit PANNA MEENA KA KUND: A 16th-century step well Panna Meena Ka Kund is one of the most ancient living structures. It is believed this spot once hosted numerous popular festivals, weddings, and religious ceremonies.


      AMER FORT 11 km outside of Jaipur the former medieval capital, was built by Raja Man Singh the commander of the Rajput Akbar army in 1592. This landmark is a splendid representation of Rajput architecture. 

       

      After the short trek, youโ€™ll steady your feet and be awestruck by the marvelous sight before you, marble palaces, mosaics, paintings, mirror works, carvings, mural walls, and engravings. When touring Amber Fort donโ€™t forget to visit 17 century Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors), a chamber decorated with an array of mirrors on the walls and ceiling. The Zenana courtyard is a place you must see. It is a private womenโ€™s residence designed with one corridor but different rooms so that the Maharaja (King) could visit the wife or concubines of his choice, at his pleasure without the others knowing.


      After visiting Amer Fort, return to the city en route and stop for the picture at JAL MAHAL (Water Palace), which is a five-story high palace located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. The four floors stay under the water it is only the fifth floor which is visible.


      Later visit the glorious CITY PALACE; when you visit you get a feel for the wealth of Jaipurโ€™s royal family one of the richest in India. for a beautiful display of intricate craftsmanship see the superb peacock gate which shows off spectacular and bright peacock images at the entrance that will make you go WOW! Visit one of the best museums in India with an art gallery and exhibits of royal costumes and medieval Indian armaments. Admire an exclusive collection of regal costumes and marvelous shawls like the pashmina. It is here that you will find what are considered to be the biggest silver objects on earth; these are two mammoth silver vessels 1.6 m tall.  


      JANTAR MANTAR was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II between 1727 and 1734. The word โ€™Jantarโ€™ means an instrument, whereas โ€™mantarโ€™ refers to formula or calculation. Situated in Jaipur, this monument is one of the five astronomical observatories present in India. The other four astronomical observatories are located in Delhi, Varanasi, Mathura, and Ujjain. Jantar Mantar also includes about 15 astronomical instruments of various geometrical shapes and sizes. These instruments are used for measuring time, accurately determining the celestial altitude, and predicting the occurrence of eclipses. 


      Drive Pass HAWA MAHAL (Wind Palace) was built so that the royal ladies could view the Royal processions without anyone seeing them. If you have ever seen a giant beehive then that gives you an idea of the look of this five-storey building. The Hawa Mahal is beautifully decorated with lattice work and has some 953 tiny windows (Jharokhas).
