  • Day 2 Salta To Cachi

      Salta To Cachi

      We will leave Salta early in the morning for Cachi. The bridge will be one of the first attractions of the Escoipe River and the thick Yungas Salteรฑas.

      About 20 km ahead begins the imposing Cuesta del Obispo, and as we ascend, we will witness a remarkable change in topography and climate. in the topography and climate. We will arrive at the San Rafael Chapel and continue our trip through the emblematic Recta del Tin Tin. 

      Finally, we will arrive at the charming town of Cachi.

      As on the first day, we will start early in the morning to travel to San Antonio de los Cobres along the mystical National Route 40

      During the trip, we will visit Abra del Acay, Payogasta, La Poma,

      Twin Volcanoes, Puente del Diablo, Nevado de Cachi, and the Tren de las Nubes.

      We will start from the high plateau of San Antonio de los Cobres. As we advance, we will encounter the imposing Tuzgle Volcano, a geological wonder that dominates the horizon. 

      Relax and renew your energies at the Tuzgle Thermal Complex, where the hot springs offer an oasis of wellness in the middle of the high plateau. 

      We will continue our journey to the picturesque town of Susques, where the colonial architecture and the warmth of its inhabitants will welcome us. 

      The vast white expanses of the Salinas Grandes will captivate us as we explore this white salt desert. 

      Our journey will reach its climax in the charming village of Purmamarca, known for its Cerro de los Siete Colores (Hill of the Seven Colors). 

      Finally, we will arrive in Tilcara.

  • Day 5 Tilcara To Humahuaca

      We begin our journey in the Amarillos de Juella, a geological wonder where the earth dresses in gold and the earth is dressed in golden and ochre tones. 

      We continue to the enigmatic Waira Caves, where we will explore the rock formations and discover the mystery that encloses these caves, home of legends and geological wonders. We will head to El Hornocal, the highest peak in the Quebrada de Humahuaca mountain range and known as the "Cerro de los Catorce Colores" (Hill of the Fourteen Colors). Finally, we will arrive at Humahuaca

      We will walk through its streets and the main square before returning to Tilcara.

  • Day 6 Tilcara To Paso De Jama To San Pedro De Atacama

      The day begins with a visit to the Garganta del Diablo, a natural wonder sculpted by the force of water over the centuries.

      We continue our journey into the past with a visit to the Pucarรก de Tilcara, an ancient pre-Inca fortress that holds the secrets of the civilizations that inhabited the region. We will enjoy free time to explore the charming town of Tilcara. We end our day at the Jama Pass, a border point between Argentina and Chile at more than 4,000 meters above sea level.

      From this strategic location, we will witness the immensity of the high mountain scenery.

      Arrival to San Pedro de Atacama and overnight.

  • Day 7 San Pedro De Atacama - Valle De Arcoiris - Laguna De Baltinache

      We head northwest through the Domeyko mountain range until we reach Hierbas Buenas, an area of rock art.

      We will make a short trek of 30 minutes to arrive at the Arcoiris Valley, a small tectonic fault with different colors due to the oxidation of different minerals. We continue with a 30 to 40-minute hike and then return to San Pedro de Atacama by the same route.

      In the afternoon we head southwest until we arrive at the Baltinache Lagoons where we can float due to the high concentration of salt.

  • Day 8 San Pedro De Atacama - Hito Cajones - Sud Lipez - Huayllajara

      Transfer to the border Hito Cajones and enter Bolivia and start touring the area of Sud Lipez.

      We will visit the emblematic Dali Desert, so named because of the interesting colors of its mountains, which remind us of the masterโ€™s paintings.

      We will also stop at Laguna Verde and the hot springs, where we will enjoy a relaxing bath surrounded by a beautiful landscape.

      A visit to the geysers, wells of water that boil underground, is a must.

      Finally, we will head to the town of Huayllajara.

  • Day 9 Huayllajara To San Juan

      Huayllajara To San Juan

      We will start with an excursion to the Laguna Colorada, so named for its reddish color, where the Andean flamingos live.

      We will also visit a different ecosystem: the Siloli Desert, one of the driest in the world, where the popular Stone Tree is found.

      Later, we will stop at the high-altitude lagoons: Laguna Honda, Laguna Ramadita, and Laguna Hedion. Each one of them has incredible beauty.

  • Day 10 San Juan To Salar De Uyuni & La Paz

      San Juan To Salar De Uyuni & La Paz

      We leave San Juan towards the famous Salar de Uyuni, we will be able to visit the Incahuasi Island, located 80 km. away from San Juan.

      From its summit, in the middle of Giant cactus, we will appreciate the amazing extension of the sea of salt and the Tunupa volcano. 

      We will also visit the Train Cemetery and the town of Colchani, which is located on the edge of the Salar, the place where salt is processed with traditional methods.

      Finally, transfer to the bus terminal in Uyuni to take the sleeper bus to La Paz.

  • Day 11 La Paz

      La Paz

      We will visit the different sectors of the city of La Paz, such as: Plaza Murillo, the Government Palace, the Legislative Palace, and the Metropolitan Cathedral.

      Then we will go up to the cable car, we will enjoy a fantastic view of the city built between mountains.

      Afterwards, we will walk through the traditional sector, where the popular "Calle de las Brujas" is located. An area where amulets, objects, and plants that are used to fight evil spirits and to perform rituals of the Andean cosmovision. We will finish the tour with a visit to the Valley of the Moon, a beautiful place located near the city of La Paz, where erosion has managed, after long years, to form wonderful stone forms that give us the sensation of being in a real lunar landscape. 

      At the end of the day, we will enjoy a dinner while watching a live typical dance show.

  • Day 12 La Paz - Copacabana - Sampaya - Isla Del Sol

      We will leave La Paz for Copacabana. 

      After lunch, we will hike for about 2 and a 2-and-a-half-hours to Sampaya, a small Aymara village with millenary stone houses.

      We will enjoy incredible views of Lake Titicaca and the Cordillera Real.

      We will then head to the port, where we will board a boat to take us to Isla del Sol.

      Here we will climb the stairs of Yumani, at the top we will find a beautiful stone fountain known as "the fountain of life" and observe the interesting systems of cultivation terraces. We will also appreciate the ruins of the Pilkokaina Palace, also called Temple of the Sun, which is an important archaeological site of Inca origin.

  • Day 13 Isla Del Sol - Copacabana - La Paz

      We will leave the island to return to Copacabana and visit the Great Cathedral, where the Virgin of Candelaria is located.

      A virgin that receives the adoration and devotion of people beyond Bolivia.


      Finally, we will return to La Paz.
