  • Day 1 Arrival To La Paz

      Today is your arrival in the city of La Paz and transfer to the hotel. You will have a free afternoon to rest and get used to the altitude.

  • Day 2 Adapt To Boliviaโ€™S Altitude - Visit Copacabana And Isla Del Sol

      Adapt To Boliviaโ€™S Altitude - Visit Copacabana And Isla Del Sol

      Before climbing to the high altitude of the mountains, we must acclimatize to the altitude to avoid health problems. The best way to do this is with a visit to Isla del Sol, where we will have time to breathe the new air.

      We will leave La Paz in the morning and arrive in Copacabana at noon. Immediately, we will take a boat to visit the Isla del Sol, where we will have a tour of the Pilkokaina Palace and the Yumani stairs. 

      Lunch and overnight on the island.

  • Day 3 Virgin Of Candelaria In Copacabana - Back To La Paz

      Today we will return to Copacabana and visit the cathedral, where the Virgin of Candelaria is located.

      After lunch, we will return to the city of La Paz for overnight.

  • Day 4 First Trek To Ajwani Lagoon

      We will pick you up from the hotel in private transport to the small village of Ajwani (4760 m.a.s.l.). From this point we will be able to observe the beautiful valley with high mountains, and have a walk in the surroundings.

  • Day 5 Trek From Ajwani To Jurikota Lagoon

      Trek From Ajwani To Jurikota Lagoon

      Early in the morning we will continue with our hike, where we will be able to observe different lagoons that are formed with the thawing of the different snow-capped mountains, and the high altitude birds that are in the area.

      The objective of this day is to climb to a summit with a height of 4910 m.a.s.l., from where  we will appreciate the famous west face of Huayna Potosi (6088 m.a.s.l.). Then, we will descend to the Jurikota Lagoon, which is located at an altitude of 4670 m.a.s.l., where  we will camp (5 hours trek).

  • Day 6 Trek To Pico Austria And Visit Chiarkota Lagoon - Back To La Paz

      Trek To Pico Austria And Visit Chiarkota Lagoon - Back To La Paz

      This is your last day of trekking. We will climb to 5140 m.a.s.l. on the Austria Peak, belonging to the Condoriri group. From there, we will have a beautiful view of the Condoriri region and the Huayna Potosi. After take a rest, we will descend to reach the Chiarkota Lagoon, which is located at 4680 m.a.s.l. (5 hours trek). 

      At the end of the tour, we will return in the afternoon to the city of La Paz for overnight.

  • Day 7 Lets Go To The Amazon! - Arrive To Madidi National Park

      Lets Go To The Amazon! - Arrive To Madidi National Park

      Today you will have an early transfer to the airport to take a 1-hour flight to Rurrenabaque.

      Once there, we start our journey at 9:00 am in a 3 hour boat trip, enjoying the spectacular landscapes of the Beni and Tuichi rivers to enter the Madidi National Park.

      We will arrive at the Eco Lodge around noon, where we will have a refreshing fruit juice to welcome us, we will settle in our room and have lunch.

      In the afternoon, we will take a walk along one of the trails, where we will be able to observe a variety of plants, gigantic trees and learn about their multiple uses in medicine, handicrafts and construction. In addition, with a little luck we will be able to observe some species of monkeys, wild boars, birds and a variety of insects.

  • Day 8 Jungle Explorations At El Farallon De Las Parabas - Boat Trip To Rurrenabaque

      Jungle Explorations At El Farallon De Las Parabas - Boat Trip To Rurrenabaque

      After breakfast, we will take a boat to visit "El Farallon de las Parabas", one of the best places in the Madidi National Park, where we will take a walk to observe macaws, parrots and other birds, as well as enjoy the impressive view of the Amazon and the rivers that flow in this place, then return to the lodge.

      After lunch we will return to Rurrenabaque where we will arrive at 4:30 pm.

  • Day 9 Journey To Las Pampas Reserve - Meet The Local Wildlife

      Journey To Las Pampas Reserve - Meet The Local Wildlife

      Today we start our journey at 8:30 am to Santa Rosa, and during the trip we will enjoy to observe sloths, anteaters, toucans and other animals on their natural habitat. We will be arriving at midday, so right after we will take a boat for about 15 minutes to reach our Eco Lodge, where after getting to know our accommodations we will have lunch.

      In the afternoon, after take a rest we will go out to navigate on the Yacuma River where we will enjoy, observe and take pictures of lizards, caimans, birds, capybaras, turtles among others. 

      Before returning we can swim with the beautiful pink dolphins that live in this paradisiacal place (This activity depends on the season).

  • Day 10 Sunrise At The Amazon - Jungle Explorations

      Sunrise At The Amazon - Jungle Explorations

      Itโ€™s time to get up early (5:00 am) to see the sunrise and listen to the awakening of the Pampas, which is a concert of howler monkeys and various birds. We will return to have breakfast and then we will go out again for a boat ride on the Yacuma River in search of a suitable and special place to walk and look for the impressive anaconda.

      During our tour we will continue observing a variety of animals such as: birds, capybaras, caimans, turtles, among others.

      After lunch we will return to Rurrenabaque where we will spend the night.

  • Day 11 La Paz. Dรญa Libre.
