  • What is CDMX?

    CDMX is the abbreviation for Mexico City based on what it is called in spanish, Ciudad de Mexico = CDMX. You may also hear it referred to as “DF” from its official name of Mexico Distrito Federal, or Federal District. The city has been known as “DF” for centuries, and only until recently has it officially transitioned to CDMX.

  • Is tipping included?

    Gratuities are optional. We believe that recognizing excellent service is a personal matter. If you feel your guides have provided an exceptional experience, gratuities are appreciated —at the end of the trip.

  • Do I need a passport to go to Mexico?

    Yes, you will need your passport when you arrive at the airport in Mexico as well as to get back into the United States. In some instances other WHTI compliant travel documents (such as a passport card) may be accepted, but a valid Passport is recommended to ensure there are no issues. If you are in a rush, there are ways to expedite your passport.

  • My coupon code is not working?

    Here are a few things to keep in mind if your coupon code isn’t working: Double-check the original email we sent to make sure the code you’re entering is correct. Only one coupon can be used per reservation. Once the coupon has been used, it will disappear. Coupons can only be used once. If you cancel a reservation that used a coupon, the coupon is also no longer valid. Make sure the promotion has not expired. Coupons can't be applied retroactively. We only accept coupons issued by LocalAdventures.
