You will climb a mountain from its base. This experience is a big physical challenge, so we recommend this experience to anyone who leads an active life and does cardiovascular exercise at least twice a week.

How is the weather in this experience?

Because of the altitude, it is always cold. From November to February, you can find sporadic snowfalls and low temperatures of -5 ºC. From March to June, the sky tends to be clear and you can reach temperatures of up to 0 ºC. From July to October, there may be heavy rains at night and cloudy skies. Even so, it is important to consider that in the mountains the weather can vary a lot, and despite the forecast, you always have to be prepared for any type of weather.

Day 1 Departure from Guadalajara to "Cerro Viejo"
5:30 am - 5:45 am

Departure from Guadalajara to "Cerro Viejo"

At 5:45 am, you leave the meeting point in Guadalajara with the rest of the group. We take the road to Tlajomulco de Zúñiga where Cerro Viejo is located.
7:00 am - 12:30 pm

Arrive at "Cerro Viejo"- Start hikking.

It is necessary to do a little calisthenics to start this great tour when you start walking the 5 kilometers of ascent by a route led by our certified guides who will accompany you for the approximate 4-5 hours of ascent, you will reach the summit to enjoy a magnificent view. Take out your camera and capture your achievement.
12:45 pm - 3:30 pm

Cerro Viejo summit- walk down.

After taking a breather on the top of the mountain we have a 3-hour descent race where the journey began to take the transport to Guadalajara again.
3:30 pm - 4:15 pm

Back to Guadalajara.

We will return to the capital on a one-hour road trip arriving at the meeting point at 4:15 in the afternoon.dependin on the traffic to get in the city.
