      Begin this exciting Caribbean adventure with your arrival in the Dominican Republic. 

      Transfer to the hotel is available from La Romana International Airport (LRM) as well as from Las Americas International Airport (SDQ), you need to share your flight itinerary with the guide through your reservation chat. 

      Check-in at the hotel and have free time to rest or start getting to know Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic and one of the oldest cities located on the Caribbean Sea coast, at your own pace.

      Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready to visit the most emblematic sites of the city with your local guide, who will give you interesting facts and tips to make the most of it. 

      Visit Colonial City, the oldest and most historic area of the city. There you will find the Cathedral of Santo Domingo, also known as Catedral Primada de América and Basílica Menor de Santa María de Encarnación, famous for being the oldest cathedral in America, built in 1504. 

      Continue the tour with the Ozaleza Fortress, a historical monument that represents the first military structure of America and resembles a stone castle, in its lower part has dungeons and tunnels, where Christopher Columbus was a prisoner. 

      Visit the Plaza de España or Armas, located in the heart of the Colonial City and one of the main places of the city. You also visit the Alcazar de Colon, a striking palace with Gothic style.

      After breakfast, leave Santo Domingo behind and take the road to Palmar de Ocoa, one of the main beach destinations in the Dominican Republic.

      On the way, you make an exciting panoramic visit to the Cuevas del Pomier, an anthropological reserve with a series of 55 caves unique in the country and rare in the world. 

      The site has limestone rooms open to the public and an art collection where you will find pieces up to 2000 years old created by the indigenous people who inhabited the site.
