Day 1: Arrival Amman, Overnight in Amman.

Pass By: Queen Alia International Airport, Alpha Building, 2nd Floorโ€‹ ุนู…ู‘ุงู†ุŒ Amman 39052, Jordan
Upon arrival, a representative from Booking Wonderful Tours will meet you at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA). Transfer to hotel in Amman. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Amman, Umm Qais, Pella, Ajloun, Jerash, Overnight in Amman.

Stop At: Umm Qais Museum, Umm Qais 21986 Jordan
Site of the famous miracle of the Gadarene swine, Gadara was renowned in its time as a cultural centre. It was the home of several classical poets and philosophers, including Theodorus, founder of a rhetorical school in Rome, and was once called โ€œa new Athensโ€ by a poet. Perched on a splendid hilltop overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Sea of Galilee, Gadara is known today as Umm Qays, and boasts an impressive colonnaded street, a vaulted terrace, and the ruins of two theatres. You can take in the sights and then dine on the terrace of a fine restaurant with a breathtaking view.

Pro-tip: While some tourists drive directly from Amman to Umm Qais, most take the opportunity to visit Jerash or Ajloun along the way

Stop At: Pella, Jordan
The site of Pella requires a lot of walking in order to grasp the sheer size of this ancient city. Amongst the Roman ruins are a theatre, Roman baths and a fountain house. There is also an Islamic quarter with a mosque and courtyard. Visitors can also explore the ruins of churches and houses from the Byzantine era.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Ajlun Castle (Qala'at ar-Rabad), Ajlun Jordan
The marvels of nature and the genius of medieval Arab military architecture have given northern Jordan two of the most important ecological and historical attractions in the Middle East: the sprawling pine forests of the Ajlun-Dibbine area, and the towering Ayyubid castle at Ajlun, which helped to defeat the Crusaders eight centuries ago. Locals often take advantage of the green landscapes of Ajlun to take a break from city life and connect with nature.

Stop At: Jerash Ruins, Jerash Jordan
Jerash is an amazing blend of Greco-Roman and Oriental influences. A great place to visit during the spring with its beautiful rolling hills and lush greenery, Jerash has a rhythm not seen anywhere else in Jordan. Also, every year Jerash hosts the Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts, a three week summer program filled with folk dance, music, and theatrical performances.

Day 3: Amman hotel - 3 desert castles - amman city tour

Stop At: Qasr al-Kharrana, Route 40, Amman Jordan
We will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Amra Castle with its zodiac dome and early examples of Umayyad fresco paintings.

Moreover, you will view the fortress-like mysterious Qasr Kharana and the black basalt Roman/Medieval Islamic fort at Azraq.

Back in Amman, we will discover the historical places of downtown. The Citadel hill with remains from the Roman to the early Islamic period, like the Umayyad Palace, enjoying views over hilly Amman and the Roman Theatre.

We will take a stroll in the Souq, where you get an idea of everyday life, and Jabal Amman with its distinctive early 20th century architecture.

Day 4: Amman - madaba - mt. nebo - dead sea - dana view - shobak castle - petra

Stop At: Dead Sea, Madaba Jordan
Check out from the hotel and drive to Madaba, to view the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George's church.

Take a short ride to Mt. Nebo. This is the place where Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died and it is believed to be his burial place.

You will visit the old monastery, overlooking the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and parts of the Holy Land.

At Dead Sea Beach, the lowest point on earth, you have leisure time at the beach and the chance to float on salty waters (shower and locker rooms are available).

Driving towards Petra, we will enjoy the view of Dana Reserve and visit in Shobak - the Crusader castle built by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem.

Day 5: Petra

Stop At: Petra - Wadi Musa 77110 Jordan
Visit the red rose city Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first established around 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and founded a commercial empire.

You can start the trip on horseback or by foot to the canyon, the so called Siq.

Then, walk to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury, from here to the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle.

Enjoy leisure time and overnight in Petra.

Day 6: Petra - Wadi Rum - Amman

Stop At: Wadi Rum Protected Area, Wadi Rum Jordan
In the morning, we drive 1.5 hours southwards to the protected area of Wadi Rum, one of the most impressive desert landscapes in the world.

Here, still Bedouins live in a traditional way, and by 4x4 Jeep tour you discover canyons, sand dunes and Nabatean rock inscriptions.

Then, drive back to the Amman for overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Amman hotel - amman airport

Depending on your departure time, transfer to Amman Airport to say farewell and board your flight.
