Day 1: Copacabana

Stop At: Isla del Sol, Copacabana Bolivia
Hotel Pick up at hrs. 7:00 a.m. approximately to go straight to Copacabana.โ€ฏ

Arrive to town at noon, justโ€ฏin timeโ€ฏto taste a delicious traditional lunch and then go by boat to โ€œIslaโ€ฏdelโ€ฏSolโ€. Walk on the Inca Stairway and drink water directly from the Fountain of Eternal Youth, then night stay at a local hostel on top ofโ€ฏsun islandโ€ฏwhere both parts of the lake will be seen. Dinner and rest at night.

Day 2: La Paz

Stop At: Copacabana, Copacabana, La Paz Department
Afterโ€ฏbreakfast,โ€ฏtake a walk to visitโ€ฏPilcocainaโ€ฏTemple, take magnificent photographsโ€ฏof the lake from a different perspective, then head back to Copacabana.โ€ฏThere,โ€ฏvisit Copacabanaยดs templeโ€ฏbefore having lunch, then,โ€ฏtake a bus to return to La Paz city and night stay.

Day 3: La Paz

Stop At: Plaza Murillo, La Paz Bolivia
Get picked up at 9 a.m. at your hotel. Learn about the history of Boliviaโ€™s wars, wealth and nature at this important plaza with your guide before starting off your day with a traditional tasty mid-morning snack.โ€ฏ

Your guide will lead the way to the San Pedro Prison giving you insights about why we have included this interesting landmark in the trip, on your way to visit several local marketplaces that are bursting with Bolivian culture. Learn about the thousands of different types of Andean potatoes by walking along the street selling potatoes in endless assortments included fresh and dehydrated varieties make specifically for traditional local cuisine. When in El Alto, reach the local Witchesยด Market, located in a hidden part of La Paz.โ€ฏ Walk around to find a magic potion to cure you of all ills.โ€ฏOn our way back downtown via cable car. Free afternoon and night stay in La Paz.

Our tour starts inside Sucreยดs main local market, have a traditional and delicious โ€œTojoriโ€ breakfast (a very traditional drink made out of corn, it is hot and filling). Following our visit we head towards obelisk and then to the Bolivar park, a beauty among the plazas. Sucre is known for having dinosaur tracks all over the place, it is so trendy to name everything after a dinosaur that this park is all about dinos. After our visit to the Park, we will take local transport to go to viewpoint from where you can see the majestic Sucre. Overlooking the city of Sucre,โ€ฏLa Recoletaโ€ฏis also a place where history and tradition blends. Afternoon bus ride to Potosi (3 hours).

Day 7: Potosi

Stop At: Potosi, Potosi, Potosi Department
Get picked up at 9 a.m. at your hotel.
The mines visited are located at the base of the historical Rich Hill of Potosi. Inside, appreciate the system of minersยด work that has not suffered great changes after so much time of exploitation.โ€ฏ Touring the different galleries and interior levels of the mines, visitors can meet some places where theโ€ฏminers-builtโ€ฏstatues that represent to their gods as The Uncle of the Mine (the devil). Visitors also can see the mineral veins that are a group of rocks and chemical formations of minerals, chimneys, apart from having an experiential sharing time with the miners and observing the different work methods that they carry out every day.โ€ฏโ€ฏ
Afternoon bus to Uyuni and first night in Uyuni.

Day 8: Uyuni

Stop At: Isla Incahuasi, Salar De Uyuni, Uyuni Bolivia
Get picked up at 9 a.m. at your hotel
Your tour will begin at 10:30 am, from our office. The first stop will be Uyuni'sโ€ฏ'train graveyard', to see the first locomotives in Bolivia. Youโ€™ll then visit the small settlement ofโ€ฏColchani. The tour will continue onto the great Salt Flats of Uyuni, which are at an altitude of 3650m. Take photos as you cruise along the vast white expanse of salt, see Los Ojos de Aguaโ€ฏSaladaโ€ฏ(โ€˜salt water eyesโ€™) and then visit a hotel made completely of salt! This amazing place currently serves as a museum.โ€ฏโ€ฏFollowing this jam-packed morning, after lunch youโ€™ll carry on toโ€ฏโ€œIslaโ€ฏIncahuasiโ€ (Fish Island), where you will have time to take a hike to the top of the island to see giantโ€ฏcactu, and rock formations made of petrified coral. Make sure you and your group pose for some fun perspective- and proportion-distorted photos, taken against the backdrop of the striking white surface of the salt flats.โ€ฏโ€ฏThen, see the beautiful sunset over the salt flats.โ€ฏ

Day 9: Uyuni

Stop At: Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve of Andean Fauna, Bolivia
Start the morning off at 7:00 am with breakfast, before going to visit theโ€ฏChiguanaโ€ฏDesert, located on the south side of the Uyuni salt flats.

Next, weโ€™ll continue along a rocky road -โ€ฏPasitoโ€ฏTuntunโ€ฏ- to the beautiful Andean lagoons, inhabited by 3 species of Andean flamingos. Marvel at three lagoons on the way: โ€˜Caรฑapaโ€™ where youโ€™ll spot the first pink flamingos, โ€˜Hediondaโ€™ where lunch will be served, and โ€˜Chiarcotaโ€™ where youโ€™ll see a wider variety of birds andโ€ฏaltiplanicโ€ฏfauna.โ€ฏโ€ฏ

Weโ€™ll then enter theโ€ฏEduardoโ€ฏAvaroaโ€ฏNational Reserve, and visit the Desert ofโ€ฏSiloli, at 4550m (the highest and driest desert in the world). Make sure you take a photo next to the 'Rock tree', a lava rock formation. Before arriving to your final destination of the day, we will stop at the view point by the Red Lagoon, where you can spot more pink flamingos in their natural habitat, and admire this intense, red-colouredโ€ฏlake. Stay the night at a shared family lodging, "HAYLLAJARA".โ€ฏโ€ฏ

Day 10: Uyuni

Stop At: Laguna Verde, Bolivia
Atโ€ฏ5โ€ฏa.m.โ€ฏHave earlyโ€ฏbreakfast.โ€ฏLater startโ€ฏwith aโ€ฏvisit to Sol deโ€ฏMaรฑanaโ€ฏGeyser, at 5,000m. Youโ€™ll walk alongside fumaroles, and steaming craters filled with boiling pots of mud at 150-200 Cยบ. Continue to theโ€ฏopen airโ€ฏhot springs, and take a bath in 35ยบC water.โ€ฏ

The first place to visit is theโ€ฏDali Desert, where Salvador Dali found inspiration for his work from the scattered boulders in the middle of the desert. Youโ€™ll then see the Green Lagoon - toxic copper water at the foot of the bigโ€ฏLicancaburโ€ฏvolcano, which sits at 6000m, a fewโ€ฏkilometersโ€ฏfrom the Bolivia-Chile border.โ€ฏโ€ฏ

Finally, youโ€™ll head back to Uyuni, passing beautiful scenery along the way, and eating a picnic lunch next to the roadside. Youโ€™ll go by the Valley of the Rocks, theโ€ฏAlotaโ€ฏsettlement,โ€ฏand the San Cristobal Village.โ€ฏWeโ€™ll get back to Uyuni byโ€ฏ6:30 pm.โ€ฏ

Night Bus back to La Paz.
