  • Day 1 Arrival in Quito
    • 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm

      Arrival in Quito

      Welcome to Ecuador! Upon arrival at the Quito Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO), a tour representative will pick you up and take you to the hotel which is located approximately one hour from the airport. It is necessary to inform your guide of your flight schedule at least 30 days before your arrival.

      You have access to your room at 14:00 hrs, and depending on your arrival time, you can take the opportunity to get to know Quito, the capital of Ecuador and the oldest city in South America, known for its churches and well-preserved colonial center, on your own. 

      Rest and get ready to start this Amazonian adventure.

  • Day 2 Quito - Archidona
    • 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

      Quito - Archidona

      After breakfast, start the trip of approximately 3 and a half hours in private transport until you reach the second largest city in the province of Napo, Archidona, also known as Archidona la Bella.

  • Day 3 Grand Canyon of Jondachi - Caves
    • 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

      Take a good breakfast to start the day with energy. Board the private transport and head for the Sumaco Volcano Reserve, located to the south of the Napo uplift, approximately 30 minutes away.

      Once there, walk for 2 and a half hours through the spectacular "Gran Cañón del Jondachi" which is a sacred place for the indigenous people of the province, who consider its water to be curative. 

      Start by taking an intricate trail along the edge of the canyon towards a primary forest and a beautiful waterfall.

      Take lunch with your fellow adventurers on a picnic surrounded by the beautiful Amazon landscape.
