  • Day 1 Upis - Trekking to Pucaccocha
    • 4:00 am - 2:30 pm

      Upis - Trekking to Pucaccocha

      Wake up very early to take advantage of the day. A tour representative will pick you up at your hotel in Cusco.

      Arrive at the Pukutuni School around 10:00, have breakfast, meet other classmates and have an informative and safety talk before starting the trek through the mountain.

      After 3 hours of walking arrive at the town of Upis, located in the lower part of the beautiful mountain Ausangate. Here you take a break and get ready to continue your journey.

  • Day 2 Trekkin to Paso del Condor – Paso de Alpaca – Lago Sororni
    • 6:00 am - 9:00 am

      Trekkin to Paso del Condor – Paso de Alpaca – Lago Sororni

      Have breakfast while contemplating the sunrise and get ready to continue with the adventure. Walk for approximately 2 hours until you reach the Condor Pass (16,076 feet), an area with snowy mountains in the background, lagoons and hopefully some llamas; this place is ideal for taking pictures.

  • Day 3 Visit Rainbow Mountain - Cusco
    • 6:00 am - 5:00 pm

      During this day you will admire one of the most impressive places in Peru and the world, the Rainbow Mountain, also known as the Mountain of the 7 colors.

      Start with a 2-hour walk to Rainbow Mountain located at 16,502 feet above sea level; there you will be impressed with its majesty, receive its renewing energy, observe the variety of fauna and enjoy its colors which include ochre, white, blue, red and more. The guide will explain about its minerals and colors; also, meet and talk with local shepherds, learn about their culture and lifestyle.

      After spending a couple of hours enjoying the Rainbow Mountain, walk for one last hour, where private transportation will pick you up to travel for 3 hours to Cusco and finally to your hotel.

      In total, you walk 3.72 miles this day and the highest elevation you reach on the way is 16,502 feet.
