Day 1: Arrive in Cheltenham. Linear route from Cheltenham to Moreton-in-Marsh

Pass By: Sezincote, Moreton-in-Marsh GL56 9AW, UK
Our team will meet your clients at their hotel at 9.30am (unless otherwise arranged) with the bikes and tour pack, ready to start the day. The day begins with a short transfer from Cheltenham to the start of the route in The Cotswolds to begin the ride to Moreton-in-Marsh. Cycle through a selection of local Cotswold villages past picture postcard views to the delightful village of Snowshill, before continuing your journey to Moreton. On the way, take in the delightful Manor House at Snowshill and explore its wonderful collection of historic artefacts. Then say hello to the traditional farm breeds at The Cotswold Wildlife Park or visit the Indian architecture of Sezincote House.

Stay overnight in Moreton-in-Marsh. Luggage will be transferred.

Day 2: Circular Route Moreton-in-Marsh

Stop At: Kiftsgate Court Gardens, Chipping Campden GL55 6LN England
Enjoy a lovely circular route that allows you to explore the area surrounding Moreton. This route gives you the opportunity to see the gardens at Hidcote Manor or Kiftsgate Court before enjoying lunch in one of the charming Cotswold villages in the vicinity.

Day 3: Moreton-in-Marsh to Bourton-on-the-Water

Stop At: Moreton-in-Marsh, Moreton-in-Marsh, Cotswolds, England
Cycling past the River Evenlode, day four will take you from Moreton in Marsh to Bourton-on-the-Water via traditional Cotswold villages such as Stow-on-the-Wold and Upper Slaughter. Bourton-on-the-Water offers a unique country experience, with a range of attractions providing something for everyone.

Day 4: Circular Route Bourton-on-the-Water

This circular route allows you to cycle and explore the countryside and villages surrounding Bourton on the Water, including beautiful examples of 17th and 18th century architecture.

Day 5: Bourton-on-the-Water to Cirencester

This cycle route includes a visit to Northleach, an old market town, and Bibury, the most beautiful village in England according to artist William Morris, before continuing on to the old market town of Cirencester.

Day 6: Circular Route Cirencester

Stop At: Cirencester, Cirencester, Cotswolds, England
Cycle the circular route in and around Cirencester and visit the village of Daglingworth, much of which is owned by Prince Charles.

Day 7: Cirencester to Cheltenham

Stop At: Chedworth Roman Villa, Yanworth GL54 3LJ England
Cycle from Cirencester to Cheltenham and visit many of the pretty Cotswold Villages. Donโ€™t forget to visit the Roman Villa at Chedworth! This is the most complete villa in Britain with mosaic floors, bath houses and heating system all on display in their original settings. There is also a collection of artefacts in the museum and an interesting visitor centre.

Day 8: Circular Route Cheltenham

Stop At: Sudeley Castle, Winchcombe GL54 5JD England
Enjoy a circular route from Cheltenham and take in a number of Cotswold villages including Stanton also known as 'the perfect village', Stanway with its romantic manor houses and Winchcombe, with the historic Sudeley Castle where Katherine Parr is buried. Please note, that for tours with two people or less, if the trains are running, this day will start with a heritage steam train ride to Broadway in the morning. On days when the trains arenโ€™t running, or if there are more than two clients, then the route changes slightly to enable full cycling. Trains run throughout the summer, every day except Monday and Friday at the moment.

Day 9: Circular Route From Cheltenham Via Tewkesbury

Stop At: Pittville Pump Room East Approach Drive Pittville Park, Cheltenham GL52 3JE England
Starting with a ride through Cheltenham, this route takes you via a number of tiny villages to the Medieval town of Tewksbury. Famous for its Abbey, Tewkesbury has a gorgeous community feel with original period architecture at the junction between the River Severn and the River Avon. Return to Cheltenham via Prestbury and the historic Pittville Pump Rooms in Cheltenham.
