This for me?
Nepal Everest Base Camp and Kala Pattar trek offers an enduring experience of natural beauty, geological magnificence and profound cross-cultural discovery. The Sherpa residents of Khumbu, the great valley below Mount Everest, believe that all things - mountains, plants and animals are sacred. This trek is classic approach to Gokyo and Kalapattar the highest point on earth. Solukhumbu is justifiably famous, not only for it’s proximity to the world’s highest mountain but also for its Sherpa villages and Monasteries. The primary goal of an Everest trekking is the Everest Base Camp at an elevation of about 5,340 m but as Everest can not be seen from the base camp, we climb Kalapattar, an unassuming meter bump on the southern flank of Mt.Pumori (7,145 m). As this trek has no trail to make circle, we therefore have to make to and from same route. Nepal and these areas of the Himalayas, are impressive places for their natural beauty and culture, they are still in the development stage. This Trek we add as much as possible, so you do not worry about basic services such as lodging, guides, porters, meals. However, tourism is part of the economy, so you have to know that all the trip you will find many basic services which will charge you and we cannot add, this is because the locals offer it. From using toilets, taking showers, buying water, taking a picture, charging your cell phone, etc. They are small and very cheap expenses of 1 to 2 dollars, but they happen during the entire walk. In the Trek you will stay in teahouses. Nepal is a place poor and simple, these places are very simple, you usually go to sleep in a private double room but sometimes there are some places that you have to share the room with other expeditions, in these places the bathroom is Shared and if you want to take a shower they usually charge from $ 3 to $ 5 dollars. It is necessary to bring your own sleeping bag, we recommend that it be at least 0 degrees Celsius, comfort (not extreme). If you doubt this, ask us what it means. If you do not have sleeping you can rent one in Kathmandu for $ 1 a day, although we recommend you take your own.
